 Those handkerchiefs your grandma used instead of disposable tissues?
Her button box?
These notebooks are made of handkerchiefs I've been given or have found in "antique" shops and buttons from my mother's and grandmother's and mother-in-law's button boxes.

Price:  $16 each
(tax included)
 		The handkerchiefs are often "rescued" as well because they have holes or stains.  I work with those because I am most interested in preserving the decorative stitching and patterns.  Each handkerchief is folded over a piece of card stock to make up for any weaknesses in the fabric.
I envision these notebooks to be useful for recording guests, menus, gifts, etc. at a special event such as a birthday, anniversary, or bridal or baby shower.  They could be used as a "brag" book with photos of loved ones.  Or, they could lie prettily by a bed to record dreams.

Photo Memory Book
This vintage handkerchief and button notebook has paper pages but also photo sleeves.  It is more loosely bound than the other notebooks to allow "stuffing" with greeting cards, programs, or other memorabilia.
